Lundåkerskolan is a school with approximately 380 students and is the largest secondary school in the municipality. Our youth come from all corners of the world and enrich our everyday life. All students and staff are equipped with tablets, and staff receive ongoing training in the area.

The school has been part of a research and development program for three years focusing on Inclusive Learning Environments, together with six other municipalities in Sweden. The staff has developed both knowledge and approaches as well as working methods and systems to create good conditions for learning. We are now continuing to develop and review how our organization can best meet the needs of students. We are working towards increased goal fulfillment at all levels.

In close proximity to the school, there are ice, sports, and swimming facilities. The school has its own library but is also close to the municipal library. The school has a large concert hall where the entire school gathers for graduations and other occasions.

We are looking for someone with the right education and competence who is willing to develop in their profession. Lundåkerskolan may be a place for you to realize this.

Subject teachers share workspaces to increase opportunities for collegial learning. No subject teachers are class teachers, allowing them to focus fully on developing teaching and collaboration with colleagues.

Two mentors handle the social aspect and most of the contact with guardians.

Job Responsibilities

Teaching, result monitoring, co-planning, and development work.

Qualifications

Teaching degree in Spanish for grades 7-9.
